EXERCISE TEXT LAYOUT USING QUARK XPRESS
1. Create a new project with the following specifications:
Custom-W: 4.134/H:5.846
Margins:Top 0.7”, Bottom , left and right: 0.5”
Columns: 1
Facing pages YES
Automatic Text box: YES
2. Title of the story on the left Master Page
3. Name of the author on the right Master Page
4. Create a thin 0.5” line at the bottom of the page over the blue line of the margin
5. Center the title and the author
6. Create automatic page numbers in BOTH Master pages clicking : Apple+ 3
7. Go to page 1 and get the text from the word document. (Apple +E)
8. Change the font of the text to Baskerville 9.5 points.
Print page 1 and 2 following these specifications:
Pages From 2-3
Registration ON
Fit into Print Area YES
Check the Preview before printing
